Your Task You are a part of a news team presenting a news report called Eruption Update. It is about a new and dangerous eruption in Papatoetoe. Using the library and intranet, you are to do research to present an interesting and informative news report. What you have to do. Each person in the group needs to choose one of the roles to be. You must have one person for each of the jobs. Everyone should start by going to the Introduction Activities. This will give you the background knowledge you need about volcanoes. You should then click your own particular role, to see what information you need for your News Update. Keep in touch with your Anchor person. If you get really stuck, or can't understand what to do, you may have to ask the teacher for advice. When you have finished your own part, you may be able to help some of the others in your group with their activities and research. When you have finished all your research you should do the Check Test.
