In some parts of New Zealand, it snows in winter. It is very cold, and snowflakes fall to the ground. They sit there, and build up into a thick white blanket over the ground.

Children love to play in snow, and throw snowballs at each other. Sometimes they will make a snowman.

It does not ever snow in Auckland, because it is not cold enough.
