Some people said that there was a curse on the tomb, and anyone who opened it up, would die.

Some of the people who found and opened the tomb did die, which made people say that there was a curse. But then, some people didn't die!

When the air has been shut into a tomb for thousands of years, bugs can grow in the air that can get into your lungs and make you sick.

So archeologists have to be careful to clear out the old air before going into a new tomb.
