Iceland poppy (Papaver nudicaule). All parts of this
common garden plant are very poisonous. It has coloured sap
like many other types of poppy but is much more harmful than
the other common species found in New Zealand.

Inkweed (Phytolacca octandra). All parts of this plant
should be treated as being poisonous, but it is the erect
spikes of poisonous black berries which children might find
attractive.
