asexual reproduction - making new plants by taking part of one parent only and growing a new plant exactly the same as the parent. The same as vegetative reproduction.
calyx - the group of sepals around the base of a flower

corolla - the collection of all the petals on a flower
cross-pollination - sharing pollen between two different parents
genes - the instructions in a plants DNA which tell it what sort of a plant to grow up into
hybrids - plants with two different species of parent, and they may or may not look like either parent.
ovary - the part of a flower that contains the female sexual parts that make seeds once they have been fertilised with pollen
perianth - the petals and the sepals together
perfect flowers - flowers that have both male and female reproductive parts
pollen baskets - baskets on the back legs where the bee can stuff the pollen it is taking back to the hive for food
propagation is the making of new plants

sterile pollen - pollen that won't sterilize the same plant
vegetative reproduction gives us offspring that are genetically identical to the parent. It is usually done by making cuttings or layering or by division.
