That
after passengers check-in their luggage, it goes
along a conveyor belt. Computer readers scan the
bar code on the luggage tags and automatically
direct the luggage to go on the correct aircraft.
One hundred bags can be sorted in just one minute.
Now that is fast, it's a jetblast!!

Over
7,500 people work at Auckland International
Airport. The airport is like a small town and so as
well as having pilots, air traffic controllers,
plane refuellers, aircraft caterers and others
directly involved with the aircraft, we also have
shop keepers, gardeners, firefighters, Police
Officers, childcare workers, service station
attendants, hairdressers, a chemist, doctor and all
sorts of other people that you would expect to find
working in a town.
