Inside the galley there are two big ovens, made of brick.

Each one has a huge copper cauldron set into the top of it. These are for cooking the crew's food.

The picture on the left shows a replica of one of the ovens. It was built by Mary Rose Trust archaeologists to find out how the Tudor cooks would have cooked the food for the crew.
