Shovel

The ovens in the galley were fuelled with wood. Hundreds of logs were found in the ship near the galley.

We also found a shovel for getting the ashes out of the ovens and a wooden box for carrying them away in.

The small cooking pot had three legs so it could be heated by standing it in the glowing embers of the fire.
