Pachycephalosaurus had a dome head in which nine inches of bone covered its brain. To defend its territory, it is thought that they butted heads, just like a mountain goat. Pachycephalosaurus had bumps and nodes on its snout and on the back of its head. It is thought that these nodes were used in digging up vegetation. This twenty foot long plant-eater lived during the end of the Cretaceous time period and was found in Alberta, Canada and the Western United States.
