Sue is the largest, most complete, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex ever found on Earth.

She was discovered by fossil hunter Sue Hendrickson in 1990, in the badlands of South Dakota, in the USA.

The Field Museum in Chicago bought Sue at public auction in 1997. They got the money from McDonald's, Walt Disney, and other people who wanted to see the bones in a museum.
