Teachers at Hogwarts

The Headmaster of Hogwarts is Albus Dumbledore. He has taught at Hogwarts for over fifty years, dating back to the time of Tom Riddle. Proffessor Dumbledore is quite fond of Harry, for he sees Harry's potential. Dumbledore has a long silvery gray beard and is very wise. He can intuitively know what a person thinks, and he can also reason very well (Like the time in the Chamber of Secerets when he had already figured out what happended to Ginny.) Overall, Dumbledore is quite possibly the best Headmaster Hogwarts has ever seen.

The Janitor of Hogwarts is Argus Filch. He is mean and he hates kids. This is because he was born into a Wizarding family, but never ended up having any magic in him. Therefore, he hates all the students because they do. He has a cat names Mrs. Norris, who can be invisible and goes around the school trying to catch students doing something wrong. Filch prizes the cat, who was petrified by the Chamber monster, but survived.

Professor McGonagall is very strict and stern. She is however, a good person. She is friendly with Harry, Ron, and Hermione and even got Harry a spot on the Qudditch team AND a Nimbus Two Thousand broomstick. Gryffindor is also her house.

We don't know much about Professor Flitwick's personality- basically we just know that he is a pretty good teacher and dedicated to his work. He teaches Charms and is very short. He has a high-pitched, squeaky voice.

Professor Sprout is the Herbology teacher. She is almost always happy and has a good outlook. She helped un-petrify the students in the Chamber mess.
