Here is Eddie's first letter back that he wrote with the help of a Japanese student. He spent the day with a 3rd year student. She is 17 years old and is studying English to hopefully work in international relations within Japan.

This letter is written exactly how she wrote it. Over here they begin English in Primary School with one or two lessons a month. Then they must study English in Junior High and Senior High School depending on where they go. So here is the letter:

Hi!

How are you? I'm great. I am at Noriko's house at the moment. I took a maths class, five period. They seem to study about graph, parallelism or vertical. It's very difficult and boring.

After school, I went to Tsutaya and bought magazine. Then I watched Star wars video with Noriko. It's cool! I enjoyed the movie.

noriko's mother got back from her work after a while. She looks like very tired. I ate salad, fried fish and rice for dinner.

After dinner, I watched baseball game. Do you know Matsui? He is call Godzilla he is quite capable player . but he had gone New York.

Anyway I had good time here. Oh, It's time to go to bed!
