Kylie Smith is a New Zealand landscape painter, who has been painting for 15 years.

She studied painting throughout Secondary School and Polytechnic gaining excellent grades and winning many art prizes.

She was originally from South Canterbury, but has recently moved to Auckland. Her work consists of mostly textured colourful landscapes, which capture mood and a real life feel to her art. The textured surface is to simulate what it is like to feel or stand on when you are there.

Her preferred paintings are detailed textured landscapes using various polyester resins, epoxy composite mix, fibreglass and tinted emulsions on canvas or wide edged boards.
