Diana was born in Canterbury and has enjoyed painting for most of her life.

She is passionate about the New Zealand landscape and landforms. Her paintings are clear with simple shapes.

She uses bold, deep colours and paints on stretched canvas over framed board. The paintings have a box like effect because the painting continues around the 5cm deep edges.
