Your task is to find out as much as you can about life in the past (in your particular location and time), and when you return, to create a newspaper. Each member of your group will be an editor and responsible for creating a page of your newspaper. Within the newspaper, you will be including general information about the destination, areas of historical, and recreational interest, and what a typical day was like. Remember, first impressions are always the most lasting, so you will want to catch your reader's eye with pictures and graphics! You will need to learn more about the new world you find yourself in, so you can write articles and include photos and pictures that really capture what it was like in that time. You will work in a four person team and once you have gathered the necessary information from books and from the intranet and internet, you will then start to work on writing your articles, making your images, and designing each page. Be prepared to answer probing questions when you present your paper. The time travel machine cost millions of dollars, and the government wants to be sure the money was not wasted on sending you back in time. |
