What is the difference between a frog and a toad? Frogs have a slimy sort of skin, and they have long legs, and they live around water.

Toads have a dry skin that looks as though it has warts. They live more on land, and they have shorter legs.

But it isn't really as easy as that. Some frogs look more like toads, and some toads look more like frogs!
