Rube Goldberg Official Site - Learn about the Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist. He is best know for his cartoons of wacky inventions--some of which appear on this site. Only one complaint--a few of the cartoons are a bit hard to read. Still, this site is worth a visit.

Paul Friedlander: Light Sculpture and Computer Art -The artist himself says it best, "Light is the closest we come to directly sensing the universal energy. My intention is to make those who see my art aware of this evergy and inspire them with a sense of wonder." These sculptures have a startling beauty as they create delicate, changing, three-dimensional patterns of light which float in the air.

The Incredible Art Department -An excellent resource for art teachers. It includes lessons, art site of the week, pet peeves, and much more. The "Art News" section wasn't very up-to-date, but my guess is that once school starts, new stories will appear.
